Bidrage med feedbackWith my family stopped for lunch, was refused for my medical mask release service. rude personal, rude owner. censorship to her 's beautiful when the first review was removed to criticize a device during a pandemic. ridiculous!
Dirty escaping. no place to wash the hands. Server touch face, while sandwich with glove on. broken order.
We thought here for a quick lunch break on the way to thunder bay from manitoba. because of covid we were not allowed to use the bathroom, only one entrance/output and had to wait in the line. no chairs or tables in the insert. I have arthritis and stand for more than a minute is impossible. the nice man at the convenience/gas station part said that there was a chair in the subway area and I could wait there for our application. the line up moved extremely slowly, even with the “drill coffin” under the commands. After she served a few people, she noticed that I sat and went to scream from behind the counter, “they can’t sit there, no sitting in the line to come”. I was so surprised by the rudeness I quickly got up. If there was another possibility to lunch, we would have left. the people before us were also shocked and told me to sit down and they blocked their eyes. not big customer service! plan a better next trip and do not stop it again.
I travel through ignace frequently and today was the last day that I’ll ever be back to this subway. The franchise owner over charges on her subs and refuses to get up to speed with the subway franchise. It’s 6 pieces of bacon on a...6” sub but Tony only gives you 4 and tries to charge extra for the correct amount. She’s been spoken to before about this but blatantly tries to steal money out of her customers pockets.
I have never written a review on trip advisor before but am exceptionally angry. I was travelling on my own with my 2.5 year old son and Ignace is one of the few rest stops on the 6 hour drive between Kenora and Thunder Bay....The owner of this subway also operates a small gift shop. While I was waiting in line to get a to-go bag for our leftover sandwich, my son ran over to the gift area and broke a figurine $3.99). Before I could say anything, offer to pay or bring my son over apologize, the owner yelled from behind the counter ‘you play, you break, you buy’ . I was upset about being yelled at. So I packed our stuff up. Put a $5 on the counter and started to leave. She yelled again as we were walking out because she thought we hadn’t paid for the $4 figurine. I told her that I’d left more than its worth on the counter. I understand that 2.5 year olds and their moms are not ideal customers. But to be yelled at twice for a $4 mistake my son made is very upsetting. The sad thing is, if she had kept her cool for more than 30 seconds, I would have offered to pay and she would have gotten an apology. She also would have had repeat customers as I do this drive at least twice a month. I will never be back.
