2 Carpenter's Grill - Idaho Springs

I walked from my motel and was greeted pleasantly by the staff, and my meal was more than I could eat in one sitting so I had, much to my delight, yummy leftovers for the next day... everything was well prepared and delicious also!!!

Excellent BBQ. Stopped in for lunch and it did not disappoint. The brisket and pulled pork were great. The employees were welcoming and friendly. A hidden gem.

Second visit is just as amazing as the first. Great food, friendly staff. I highly recommend the sweet bbq sauce. I’ll be back.

Epic food, epic service. Great friendly people with awesome bbq. The pulled pork sandwich and French fries hit the spot. The spicy slaw was also killer.

From the moment we entered the staff were lovely the guy with the gingery colouring at the til was patient, very warm professional, and Gina was really thoughtful, personalised and welcoming. They made us feel valued and welcome. We ordered a wide range of BBQ inc brisket, pulled pork, smoked 1/2 chicken. And chose the catfish a range of sides, too. The food is flavourful well cooked. Not fatty. Perfectly seasoned. Nice condiments available. Really great fries, too. The moose pie was a nice pudding for us. The atmosphere is lovely, nice country music, good seating options, chill vibe. We really enjoyed the food, but it’s the staff that would keep us returning if we were local. Loved it.
