Smittys Pancake & Steak House

This place is legendary here. Today was the first time. everyone in there was super friendly. even the customers seemed consistently happy. Perhaps the friendly contagious or maybe the people are just happy when fed well. we tried a lot of their specialties. the German pancake was huge, perfectly cooked and surprisingly fast to use. (many restaurants are on the menu for 15 minutes or whatever. but the German pancake came first. we didn't like the ****. they were bitter, so maybe they are not sweetened green apples? in any case we have stripped off and enjoyed the rest with powder sugar or maple syrup. very tasty.

Unbelievable. the hype is real. I have French toast. my son had the pancakes and they were amazing! my younger son got a kids sirloin for 6 dollars and it was on the same level as many national chains sirloins. great place.

Absolutely delicious food! some of the best pancakes I ever had. beautiful service great atmosphere. everything we ordered was perfect. server was fantastic. we also ordered a perfectly prepared egg and hash brown . great experience will go back!

Excellent location, service, decorations and eating. 4 persons under 15 min. first experience with chickens n waffeln and the hawn was from this world...Krei but humid, light spicy, wonderful. the potato pancakes were super sweet and with syrup were the perfect mix of sweet and sweet. would stop again. for RV parking directly over the road along the road there is a rv-marked place that was a perfect fit for our 36 ft and jeep tow.

Smittys is a very cute family restaurant. The decor is beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed it visually. The food was cooked well and I was happy with my order. I got the pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. My friends got an omelet and the French toast. The omelet wasn't cooked quite all the way so that was probably the only negative. But otherwise I am happy with the experience. The food was good and the servers were friendly. We had no wait to be seated and very little wait for our food.
