19th Hole - Hyannis

I read the bad reviews and still decided to check this place out after reading the good reviews. There's always two sides to a story. Attached photo is a sign before you enter that states there is a dress code and back up IDs may be needed. My out of state license was sufficient, and I was greeted and served within 2 minutes. Bar tender during my visit is a great guy with knowledge of the area and was able to help me out with what I should see or do around here. It is cash only. Nice pool tables, multiple TVs, and the crowd made for a great visit!

These people are actually crazy. Kicking people out for false accusations. Makes sense. Can’t even talk to any of them like a human

According to the new rule, they now only accept American passports. I went with my friends and they didn't accept anyone's passport. An Irish bar that doesn't accept foreigners, that's crazy. The passport, whether American or of any other nationality, is the valid document worldwide, even more so with the American visa stamped in the passport. Even in court the judge accepts your passport. There should be a sign on the door that the bar is for Americans only.

Bob is the best bartender,it has a home town atmosphere. Cape cod own version of cheers rooted in its simplistic charm and local legend decor .simple local bar
