Look it up, I almost never give a one-star review.... The lunch was a set menu for 16 euros a head. Our waitress told us the first course was tagliatelle. When it came and it was penne, my wife was like, they said it would be tagliatelle (usually homemade and not penne (always dried, thus cheaper . Our Plat came, and it was medallions of chicken stuffed with a sliver of smoked duck. The chicken was raw and cold. We sent it back. It came back again, raw and cold. We asked for the bill before the courses were complete, and an argument with the chef ensued about what we would be charged for. (We met in the middle. Also, it took a very long time for all of this to happen.
Located close to the Grand'Place de Huy, this restaurant is nevertheless in a quiet location in a nearby courtyard. This advantage can become an inconvenience some days when you need to find a parking. In addition to the restful setting, the reception of customers is cordial and the service is efficient and fast. We took the menu at 32€50. I was able to eat for the first time a carpaccio of birch accompanied by parmesan in the entrance, perfectly seasoned. A treat! In the dish, I enjoyed a Rossini-style beef filet with poached foie gras as well as polenta fries. There, too, a delight. Nevertheless, it must be recognized that one in three dish increases the note of several euros. Just like the 2€ cheese plate, although it was very generous. As for the wines, we chose an Alsace Pinot Gris and a Nero Davola. The latter was worth it, especially for €27. In short, a refined cuisine, a well done service. My only reproach would come from the price, too dear to me when you take some dishes. Fortunately, the waitress offered us the digestive of our choice.
