Bidrage med feedbackFriendly place on the planet in the charming old quarter of Hutto, TX. I ordered a cup of spinach soup, added a line Tabasco and BAM! Delicious! Visits for a second time today during the lunch break. Do not recommend going during this time unless you wait 30 minutes for your food. Too much for me. Still good food people there. You make the best fried Dill Pickle slices! Crispy and crisp kindness. They were a little salty, but they said they were working on their secret formula.
Absolutely top in food and pies. The fried green tomato blt was so fresh and tasty. The jalapeno hamburger was also delicious. Check out the 1000 hippo statues around Hutto,Texas after your pie feast.
This was such a nice restaurant that reminded me of home. Service food were amazing. I'm glad my buddy took me there. I highly recommend!
Overall, my experience was pretty good! The atmosphere really captures the Texan vibe. This was my first visit, and I decided to try something unusual that I'd never had before—I ended up really enjoying it! I ordered the cattle liver shell, which was a bit on the salty side for my taste, but I took the leftovers home to enjoy with some rice. However, my side order was supposed to be green beans, but it wasn’t, and it looked a bit like canned vegetables rather than fresh, steamed ones. I plan to return to explore other menu options. I give it 4 stars for the service and the vibe!
10/10! After living abroad for two years, I returned to Texas and this restaurant really satisfied my craving for home. The chicken fried steak, cake, and fried pickles were all outstanding. Our waiter was also incredibly friendly and attentive.
