Don't let the exterior deter you. The lamb kebobs are delicious! Also, I love the kafta and the gyro platters. I will definitely be a returning customer.

The best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had in Alabama

Honestly, I would not know anything about their menu other than their hamburgers. They have the best steak burger In town, that is if you trust their proprietary blend of onion, mayonnaise mustard and seasoning. I couldn 't tell you exactly what it is but it is absolutely delicious. The best! At the best price in town.

The food was delicious, I had a chicken cheesestake and fries, and my friend had a gyro plate with a salad. She said her coffee was great. I also got a chia smoothie. I highly recommend Jamo's Cafe.

Excellent gyros and Kebabs at this cafe, with a good selection of drinks to include good smoothies. For the price (around 12 for a kebab plate or 6.50 for a gyro) getting food of this quality is unheard of nowadays. While there's nothing particularly exotic about the menu this is one of the best places near redstone for a great and affordable lunch.
