This is an amazing place for quiet draft beer drinking. Food is excellent. Service is one-on-one with an attractive female bartender. My tab came to over $100 with a $20 tip. However, it was the ideal experience for a staycation .
Cooking a steak to the correct temperature should be one of the easiest things in the world. If you can't get that right then choose another line of work. Also, the restaurant billed itself as Hawaiian cuisine. I didn't get that from the menu
I know that we had a larger party (of 13 all adults except 2) but the service was terrible and the three of the entrees had to be sent back due to being incorrect. Our service was the probably the most frustrating part of the whole night. She obviously did not feel the need to wait on us and check on us very often. It felt as if she knew gratuity was going to be included on our check (any party more then 10) so she didn't have to work for her tip and it truly showed. It was a little busy of course being a Saturday, but it was nothing crazy. I had high exceptions for this place and i was let down. I understand why they do the things they do (like adding gratuity) of course. But take care or your tables. Don't just expect things. It's a little ridiculous. .
We arrived a few minutes late because of the weather. We were greeted very well and brought to a table immediately. Then, we waited a long time to meet our waiter. no water or contact for over 10 minutes or more. Finally we asked for a waiter and someone walked over and spoke very fast and all we could understand was the word busy. Our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time but not how it was ordered. We waited and tried to get someone's attention but again no response. I ate my extremely over cooked pork chops and my wife never received the ketchup for here impossible burger. Another waitress provided our check. The restaurant had about 50% occupancy and it seemed that there were a lot of people working. Not sure where the problem was but the place looks nice and the food looked like it was prepared well but just not for our table that night.
