New Wave Burrito Bar

A few solid vegan options that are delicious. I had the impossible burrito which was filling and delicious. The burrito itself was huge and really incredible.

My wife and I finally got to check out New Wave Burrito last night and were both excited by how good both the food and atmosphere were. As a vegetarian I was happy to see so many options, including 2 types of vegan burritos and many other vegetarian and vegan options. The cocktail and beer menu was quite interesting and tough decisions had to be made. We went with the Micheladas which were a superb "Beer meets **** Mary creation. The staff was excellent as well. This will be a regular go-to cafe for us here on in. I would have given 5 stars but Happy Cow only permits that for fully vegan restaurants. Updated from previous review on 2020-01-23

This place, vauxhall and nitrospace are a little strip of vegan heaven in Huntington village. I believe they are all owned by the same person/people. I got the BBQ seitan in lettuce ‘tacos’ and I really liked them

Again vegans, what is all the fuss about!? Maybe I have high standards, but we didn’t like the food at all! I got the meat loaf with a very old tiny hard stale corn bread, where is the mash and gravy guys?! My friend got a ‘chkn’ sandwich, it was all so bad and the food I’m pretty sure was just old, yet they took forever to serve us old food. The chkn was so tough! But not in a well this is fake meat so what do you expect kind of way, but it could break your teeth kind of way, so so bad! Quality sucked, atmosphere seems cool. But not worth it. Didn’t try the tacos though, but we don’t plan to go back, sadly. I appreciated the effort to have vegan options, but we didn’t appreciate the disappointment and we spent for bad food.

Great food, drinks and atmosphere. good vegan choices. I'm looking forward to going back.
