La Monarca Bakery Cafe

My absolute favourite bakery! I get here every year a birthday cake, her guayba (guava) cake is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place.

They have charming pink and white mini conchas for motherday, $10 a box for 12. very sweet.

Love this bakery but I called ahead on the 9th to buy two traveler cases and when I went to pick them up they weren’t ready. My cousin had to wait almost an hour even though I had called ahead of time

Ostchata Latte isn't bad. Reminds me of old times. The biscuit is hella weird. Very unappealing. Had to scoop the cheese to the center. I seen better biscuits from Mc. Donald's.

Very recently, I visited this bakery during a busy Sunday. It was quite crowded inside, although that was to be expected. The desserts were elegantly displayed and the place seemed clean. However, I was disappointed by the prices of the pastries. For instance, one slice of tres leches cake was a good 4-5 dollars, which was a complete rip-off when I could purchase a larger slice of tres leches cake at my local grocery store for 3 dollars. The cake was alright in flavor, nothing to special in my opinion. All in all, it is an attractive backery, but if you decide to come here, make sure to bring at least 30 dollars in your pocket.
