I visited the restaurant today, 11/08/15,(my father's birthday). it took all my inner strength to keep drinking back. my father died in juni of prostate cancer, who had spread over his bones and organ. before he went to the nursing home and could still walk, I asked him one day where he would like to go to lunch. he said I'd like to go to the diner in hull where I visited earlier. I said you were safe and he said yes. so we had our last breakfast together. I had my breakfast and noticed that the coffee saucers had the name saltwater dinner on them. at the end of my meal I asked the waitress if she sold the tassen to whom she replied, not in the rule (sensing my disappoint) she added but let me ask the manager. I couldn't have been happier. he gave me the cup! I managed to get a few words out of it, why it meant so much and thank the waitress and quiet left. my father (hio, quincy clamdigger) and I really appreciate it. many thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Great breakfast! Very good. Two eggs, houseries and toast $3,50.
Great experience, place was really busy but staff made it work even though they did not have enough people on the floor
This is a great spot to grab breakfast! I ordered the two-step boil, which came with two eggs cooked to order, two pieces of bacon, two sausage links, and two French toasts (or pancakes). My wife had the Maryland dish, featuring two eggs Benedict over a crab cake, served on pancakes with a side of potatoes. It was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly, and our server made sure to check on us during our meal. This place has a local diner vibe—while it may not be modern or trendy, it has just the right charm, with tasty food and wonderful people.
