Ponderosa Cafe - Hulett

Prices are unbelievably high one would think that if you are sitting in the BEEF state surrounded by beef ranches that the cost of a hamburger would be less than $16. $30 for a small piece of prime rib, potato and salad. We were shocked at the prices that were far higher than the inflation ridden city establishments. The portions are good, the taste was very good, and the service was exceptional but the prices exceeded an acceptable level. This was the only open restaurant in the tiny town of Hulett, Wy. I would advise visitors staying more than a day to bring food unless they plan to spend their life savings for dinner. $65+ before tip 2 BBQ, 2 Hamburgers, and water.
