Bidrage med feedbackGeneral: A good acquaintance wanted on 31.12. 2014 New Year's Night at a famous butcher in Hückeswagen buy meat and sausage. As Blumberg had opened this day until 13.00, we went very quickly. After shopping, we were both hungry. We drove to the nearby old town to eat something, or we hoped a local had opened today. The driven Italian had of course closed today at noon, but a little away, in the restaurant Hofgarten light here I began to remember, about 1.5 years ago in the garden on the Terasse during a motorcycle tour actually eaten quite neat Cevapcici and through the window pane you could also see 4 older people sitting in the restaurant. So we came to the place. This restaurant is operated by a Bosnian family and serves Balkan dishes, steaks and fish dishes. The parking situation in the old town is not always easy. Only 2 cars can park in front of the restaurant. Welcome Ambiente: We were greeted by a younger waitress with a bright English accent. We asked politely if the kitchen had opened what the case was happy. We were allowed to choose a free table in the right dining room. The left pantry was already covered in the evening for the Sylverster Party. The right dining room is not that big. The tables are served with a fabric table cloth, cutlery, flower, candle, salt pepper shaker and beautifully folded fabric. Inside very bright, but decorated for my taste with too many decorative pieces. Therefore, 3 stars for the ambience. There are not usually typical wall arches. The service was very attentive and fled all the time. She wondered if everything would be okay if it had cost, and the beverage delivery worked perfectly. So 4 stars for the lady. Order: The waitress gave us the menus and we already gave the beverage order. 1 bottle of mineral water for the lady and a Alster 0.3l for me. Radeberger Pils and early Kölsch are tapped here. The drinks were served quickly and enticed. However, the menu was not the usual, but it was a holiday ticket for Christmas and New Year's Eve, where only a few big dishes were on it. We asked the service if we could get a big salad for the lady and for me Cevapcici from the otherwise normal menu we didn't want to eat as much for lunch as it went to a New Year celebration in the evening. The waitress went to the kitchen to ask. She came back and told us it wasn't a problem. A mixed salad, a mixture with turkey strips or a cutlery with beef strips would be possible as a salad. My companion stayed for the salad with beef strips, which later on the bill as a garden salad with approx. €10.90 and the Cevapcici were registered with a similar amount. Food: First we were served a beef soup with noodles from the house. The soup was very hot, the bet was pretty clear and not really cost. For 2.5 stars. After a pleasant time I got my extra salad. I had ordered this in a white herb and carrot salad, which was also carried out to my satisfaction. The salad was fresh and tasted me. Shortly afterwards, the two main dishes were served. My Cevapcici plate consisted of well seasoned Cevapcici, but those who were grilled too dry were not a little juicy and in 2 Cevapcici there was still a small bone so that these two Cevapcici also remained on the plate. Then the other food is not really more fun because I was afraid to meet a bone again at every bite. In addition, there were some onion slices, quite neat frits and the best on my Cevapcici dish, really delicious, delicious, hot, uncooked Djuwet screams that also deserves the name. The Ayvar was ordered directly by me and the waitress brought a small part of the mild Ayvar that was filled with a large glass. Whether the Ayvar was calculated, I can't say exactly now that I left Sylvester the bill in the restaurant now, it was my time when I hadn't written any restaurant reviews in the meantime and was not yet registered with GG. The biggest manko comes to the salad. The size was fine. It consisted of various green salads, white herbs, carrots, corn etc. and was also fresh and delicious. The great dilemma were the beef strips, some of which were present. The beef strips were cut off too wide, hard and quiet, so they almost all stayed on the plate. That was definitely not a good quality. Thus, despite the very good Djuwet screams, the dishes are rated only with 2 stars. Therefore, the PLV also slips from 3 to 2 stars. After that we had another Julischka. When asked if it tasted, we mentioned the two bones in the Cevapcici and the bad beef strips, whereupon the waitress wanted to pass them into the kitchen. A drink as a possible compensation was not offered to us. The payment, including a tip, cannot work the service again to the dishes very quickly the cashier is handed over here in a small leather folder and we were handed over with a good new year. Conclusion: In summer it can sit outside in the garden. The service was very fleeting and attentive, but because of the quality of the beef strips and the Cevapcici we will no longer have a follow-up visit.
The operation is quite upset, the menu is very reduced and still not everything in the offer. Special enquiries are commented with eye roles or with the phrase whether this pleases the boss, although the restaurant is empty. The food was moderately fine and too expensive for quality. There were no vegetarian dishes and were only prepared under pressure. Not worth a second visit. We were a larger group with 4 smaller and 2 larger children. To the sake of justice, it must be mentioned that we liked the premises well, as you could have closed the door to not disturb any other guests by playing children and painting pens with a children's cat was also there.
We were the only guests, but it took a long time. the salat cucumbers were from yesterday/before? the sweet was frozen on our tellers, the steak was almost raw. the service was nice.
Just after a bike tour, get a table. The staff was very friendly. The food we ordered was served within 5 minutes. For a price of 19,00 euros per dish we would have expected a halfway good quality. Unfortunately, it was half-gar meat with pampty pifferling sauce. Another dish should be fillet tips. This was probably more soup meat. We cannot recommend this restaurant. Sorry!
