Auberge Willow Inn - Hudson

The restaurant was extremely loud and had poor acoustics. The waitress was not well-informed about the menu or drinks, which was concerning as we had guests with severe allergies. The prices were exorbitant considering the small portion sizes. I ordered the duck confit, which was dry and overly salty, and was served with only five small pieces of vegetables for $27. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning, as I preferred the previous ambiance and menu offerings much more.

It was my first visit since the renovations. Great location. Beautiful. My only negative is that the servers left the door leading to the terrace open for ease of service I guess and we were quite annoyed with all the flies inside. I would suggest installing a screen or swing door.

If you plan on dining on the terrace on a beautiful day, I recommend arriving early when they open or later in the afternoon after the lunch rush. Outdoor tables are not reserved, so it is first come, first served.

We noticed that the service was somewhat slow, but it was acceptable.

Great. Fantastic view of the lake coupled with very good service and food. Five stars.
