Bazalka - Hradec Kralove

When my four children and I visited the restaurant, we found that our options were limited to five different salads and a variety of vegan pies. The food was tasty, healthy, vegan, and organic. However, I wouldn't classify it as a traditional restaurant - it felt more like a school canteen with an anthroposophic atmosphere. If you enjoy that kind of setting, then this is the place for you. My children, who have attended Waldorf schools, were not impressed. They seemed disappointed that it didn't meet their expectations of a typical restaurant. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is amazing. They display their menu on a screen with labels for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. which is really helpful. The food is always delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is fantastic, especially in the summer when the garden is open.

I absolutely love the food at Bazalka! They offer a wide range of delicious dishes that are clearly labeled with colorful squares indicating if they are suitable for different dietary needs, such as being vegan or gluten-free. The restaurant is spacious but popular, so there may be a wait at times. However, the service is quick and you can also take your food to go and enjoy it with a beautiful view of Hradec, such as by the river. I've heard they are expanding the restaurant in 2015. The staff can generally speak English, or there is always someone available who can. Bazalka is my favorite spot for light, tasty raw foods and raw cakes at affordable prices, often organic. I highly recommend checking it out for a nice atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly people.

Shop with healthy eating and a low cost canteen. many vegetarian and vegan foods. if they are gastronomic interesting experience or cozy place - it is not here. but the best place for daily lunch!
