Cafe Sanso - Houston

When I arrived, there were just a couple of tables with people. For the 6 hours that we were there, people came and went. It was never empty, us excluded. It has a homey feel with the different chairs and couches used. The staff ws very attentive, always filling our glasses with water. That's one thing I don't see that much in restos. The food was good, I just don't remember what they're called. Gambas could probably be a bit bigger, though I appreciate that it's only a bit spicy. The pork belly was perfect with the ground green mush. The ice cream with churros was divine! I wonder who made their salted caramel ice cream? Carmen's Best? I'd definitely go back. Quaint, hidden, fantastic!

Relaxed ambience. Really good food. Attentive staff. One of the places in our list worth coming back to.

Cafe Sanso is my happy place. I just hope that people talk a little softly when the place is full. Loud chitchat ruins the cafe's cozy atmosphere.

The best Churros I've tasted! Their Callos, Paella, and Caldereta ...... one of the best!

Relaxing interior great foid! Serene place and its beside Museo Sanso!!! You gotta eat here!
