Truth Bbq - Houston

Best barbecue in Texas. Austin and Dallas can’t compete with Truth BBQ and you can’t tell me otherwise. Turkey breast was soooo tender and apparently their most popular meat. But also the brisket and pork ribs were delicious. Would also recommend Brussels sprouts as a side. The only downside is the very long wait time…you have to arrive early to wait less than 40min

Great food, ribs and brisket were delicious. Service was nice, we waited in line for 45 minutes but it was worth it. The parking lot is big. If you want to save time you can order online and just pick up your order when it is ready.

I love this place! If you are in Houston, make the trip! Worth it!

Finally got to try Truth today, rainy rainy day so the line wasn't long Like most Houston Bar B Que joints way over priced these days expect to spend $30.00 or higher for lunch Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great presentation on the food The brisket was good not great like what you get at the HLSR Cookoff tents and the sauces mustard based and Tomato based were good The homemade pickle relish was really good and the pickled red onion, also the bread slices not sure they were but yellow and a lil sweet The downside came in side orders The potato salad and cole slaw nothing special, memorable flavorful might as well been WalMart potato salad and cole slaw. Very bland and generic better probably to just stick with a sandwich and pass on the sides.
