Bidrage med feedbackThis place was the first Texas roadhouse we visited in the 1990s. we're sure we're never going there again, and that's why we're here. the first waiter commanded us someone else, so we sent him back. the 2nd waiter brought our order unfinished so that one of us had eaten after each other in the party of 5. to round it, the late order came with a very big error in the broccoli (see actual picture attached). we talked to a manager who took the crappy broccoli and disappeared. after approx. 15 minutes are waiting for the review, our server then appeared quite randomly again, as everything is normal, so we asked for the check. no apologies about the service or bugs in the food, as if it were a daily event in this restaurant. what happened to excellent customer service? what happened to human condition and healthy human understanding? where did the manager disappear?
On 8/2/2022 my daughter and I visited this Texas roadhouse location near the intersections of hwy 6 and 290 freeway. arrival after 9 o'clock. my server was alex. I ordered the beef tips w/o gravy on the maische kartoffeln und fleisch and, ask that it on the side together with a home side with swirl with ranch dressing. my daughter ordered the rauchburger with pommes. my order came first out what was noticeably wrong. they were serious on the bark tips and slightly serious in the corner of the macular kartoffels. alex recommended to try it and if I don't like it, he would take it back. I tasted 2 pieces meat and didn't like it. he mentioned, 1. they can regain it, but it would be around 9:50. Now, this is close to their closing time of 10 o'clock. I said no thank you and he apologized and said he would take it out of the shook. I said thank you. my daughter eating came out and the flesh was full of red inside. she asked for medium good. When Alex came back, we showed him the burger he had apologised, and asked my daughter if she had another one she said again, yes. the burger was actually re-made and Alex brought it to my daughter. it was wrong (again) a completely different burger called her classic burger with meat, cheese, salat and tomaten. I said alex is the wrong burger. he said he would talk to the manager and she would do and apologise. carina, the manager came to our table saw that the burger was wrong and then ask my daughter if they would like to use the ingredients for the smokehouse burger like mushrooms, sauce etc. that is (wrong) to so many wise. they ask a customer to build a burger when it should be made new. but because it is their closing time, ask a customer to cut what should be done the right way. that is unacceptable. carina just said that (1st time) that she would take it off the check. when Alex came back with the updated check on our table, the costs of the burger were still there. I showed Alex the scheck and he said he would go back and talk to her. carina comes back and says, because she pulled out the beef tips, she could (not) pull out the burger and would now offer only a small credit for the Burger error. So, now you're not on your word. it was not about the money. it is the director. where is their customer service and how they are on a customer flip/flop. she said I'm gonna talk to the manager. she's coming back and says the manager has gone. I gave her money to pay for the check and ask her general manager names and information. now, my daughter and I just sat at our table and waited for her to return with the information and my changes, but she took a very long time. So I took my $5 tap from the table so I can hand it over to Alex personally and we'll leave the table to go forward. I see carina, who are talking to? she looks shocked, says nothing more, gives me my change and a card with the managing partner (ark korenkow) name on it. I gave alex his tipp and my daughter and I left. that was a terrible experience. in no case. they simply do not treat customers on this wise!
We ordered Blooming Onion, Bone in Ribeye 20, Half slack of Pork Rib, Shrimp, And Chicken Fried Chicken. I have to say all portions seems to have shrunk since my last visit. Blooming Onion was good as always. Pork Rib, Shrimp, and Chicken Fried Chicken are all okay.Most disappointment is the Ribeye, because I was really looking forward to this one. I always had good experience with the steaks here, but this time is not so much. The edge of the steak is really thin. I have never seen a Ribeye to be that thin or in that shape before. It is definitely missing some meat there.I also want to to mention their Mac and Cheese, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order it. There is a reason it is not on the sides menu. It is the most disgusting Mac and Cheese I have ever had. It looks like it’s made from the fake Mac and Cheese package from Walmart, and the taste is dry and bland.If these are the norms here now, I would not be coming back.
I didn't like the looks we got when I walked in with my special needs child. The hostess was very rude and said we were in the way and ask me to move. I said it's too hot to wait outside and said we needed to wait outside if we couldn't find a seat in the waiting area. I asked to speak to a manger. No one ever came so we left and went to saltgrass and had a wonderful meal.
