Taqueria Ruby - Houston

I conquer with other reviews. The service is horrendous. The location is filthy. I began ordering tacos and was told they didn’t have any. I asked for horchata, again they didn’t have any. I asked if they had rice and beans, surprise surprise they did not. I’d highly recommend not going here. We moved on.Food: 1/5

This is the BEST place in Houston for real mufuggin everything Mexican food. The people that work there and started this place are one of a kind. I have gone there for years and I'll always prefer this amazing place to go. So generous, so giving....visit here and I promise you won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5

If you live in Cypress or JV AND don't know this spot, I feel sorry for you! Place has been here for at least 20+ years. It use to be a lot smaller but it expanded over the years. Anyhow, the menu has also expanded. I went to this place at 1:30 AM and they were fully stocked w everything. (Some places sometimes are out of certain meat or our of Agua fresca) This place also has a nice variety in meats. Everything always seems to be fresh and well cooked. I can't remember a time they messed up my order or that the food was bad. A Cypress legend, Taqueria Ruby! Gracias por tú bien servicio todos estos años.Parking: Decent. Can Get cramped when very busy.

Unfortunately the taco truck is still closed, we had to go to the restaurant, but food is the same, so I am happy.Food: 5/5
