SaltAir Seafood Kitchen - Houston

I chose saltair from recommended by some friends of our who know one of the owners, charles. it is so a shame that the good food and the great service is overrun by the lack of gas service from one of their hostesses. our rswp was early, so I asked you to stand because my friend has a bad one. a red-haired girl told us that it was not possible because they were completely booked, but nevertheless the place was somehow empty. I asked if there were somewhere else they could take us, and she grabbed me and said no, and complained that she had already told us. When I spoke to a manager, she cried a few keys into the face and said she was the manager. Well, the restaurant and most of his coworkers are wonderful, why it is sad to close it, but if this is the type of administration that they run along, I can see why the place was not able to be successful.

Eating was very good. server was very knowledgeable and attentive. the wee was at a reasonable price.

As always the service was only upstaged by the food.

Absolutely awesome experience at every level! The host were warm and helpful! Great experience at the bar...knowledgeable with great drink suggestions! My dinner experience was equally as enjoyable! The food was outstanding! I will be back often for happy hour and dinner!

Waiters were excellent! Ambiance was really nice, food was delicious. My date and I had a wonderful evening!
