Salento Bistrot - Houston

We tried to get a restaurant, and this place got our eye. no regret. the brot alone was worth the stop, but between the wonderful and grooming service, the beautiful small room with large comfortable chairs and the generally amazing service, I just can't wait to go back. we have a few appetizers, but there is a garnel dish that was just from this world. the sauce was one of the best I had. I could have been brothing in this sauce and be happy. we also have the steak and a mushroom pasta dish that were both excellent. the steak was absolutely perfect, and the whole use of fresh crumbles was delightful. the potato wedges were so well seasoned and I just can't wait to go back and try the empanadas and everything they have to offer. this has been one of my favorite dining experiences in houston.

Pretty little caffe. very beautiful coffee and mimosas. the ceviche was very good, like the butternut sqaush suppe. the paella was decent. the cake was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful place for a casual and upscale dinner! also sitting outdoors are beautiful, with live music and a great mood. I had the harissa cauliflower steak that was quite delicious, but I had somehow expected it to be more like a steak, they know how the cauliflower pizza dough looks like regular pizza dough. still a great experience!

Very nice place to eat. the steak was very delicate and very tasty. service is great! I like the menu selection here. in any case will be back!

Great brunch experience, a tasty menu combined with incredibly polite service who will answer any questions you have and even walk you through the menu a bit for first time guests. It's a small to medium size space, but they utilize it well and there wasn't even a wait when I went. Strongly recommend trying an empanada! P.S. Delicious mimosas and quite enjoyable wine selection!
