Pappasito's Cantina E Fwy - Houston

Pretty good atmosphere and large space. Do check cleanliness of your utensils. Food was good and same for service. Didn’t like the soup because the cheese was like a big clump on the center bottom of the bowl. Like the broth and veggies but that big chunk of cheese ruined it. Portion is good size so be aware of what you order.

I ordered the Pappasito's Grill Fajitas. It comes with 3 pieces of Grilled Steak, 2 Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and Sliced Grilled Chicken. Yum-me... I'll be Back

Ordered the Baja shrimp tacos. Good, but not worth $26. That is a bit steep. They use to have a mahi mahi dish that was fantastic. This one was overpriced which is usually of all Pappas restaurants. Good but inflated.

We were in the area for work and decided to visit. The prices were more than I'm used to.. I'm from South Dakota and believe that TexMex is usually a quick/cheap meal. The food itself was pretty good, the cheese enchilada had great flavor, but was pretty small. The crispy beef taco was good and had what tasted like a fresh homemade shell.

I went to Pappasito's Cantina on the East Freeway in Houston Texas at around 12:30 pm on a Saturday. They had several lunch options on the menu I choose the chicken quesadilla special that came with a taco and a beans rice on the side. It was a lot of food and the meal also included sour cream, guacamole, chips and salsa. My total was $21.60. I was offered a complimentary drink while I waited for my to-go order. I enjoyed my meal I will give 4 stars because the taco shell tasted a little stale. everything else was very good. I will go back and try other menu items.
