Bidrage med feedbackI was quite disappointed with the amount of food for the price. I usually live their green beans so I ordered 2 sides of them and they were half done, no flavor. Very small amount of brisket on both plates. I'll have to avoid eating hereFood: 2/5
The BBQ is always very delicious. The burgers are a favorite of mine.. I got the chopped beef bake potatoe but they have gotten very small for a huge price.. The food is very pricey but the food is very good.Food: 5/5
I made an order for BOARD 1 and the lady in the front short, with glasses just gave me one small bbq sauce , I ask for more and she said that’s was enough. This is FOOD for 3-4 people how is that enough ? I am disappointed.Food: 4/5
When it comes to BBQ, there’s no place like Texas. In Houston, we now have some of the country’s best options. ? This said, I want to recognize Pappas BBQ for being around when there were not very many options. IMO what distinguishes them is the company’s dedication to quality and food consistency at all their locations. They serve up tasty beef, sausage, chicken, ribs and turkey BBQ with all the trimmings and sauces. My favorite has always been the giant baked potato with sliced beef, cheese and chives. I always request the sour cream and butter on the side. All this goodness is accompanied by the best Texas iced tea which goes down so good on a hot summer day! I also love the Chef Salad loaded with meat and the giant French fries. Pappas was my go-to catering and in-restaurant choice when hosting friends and family.#bbq #barbecue #texasBBQ #houstonBBQKid-friendliness: Pappas is always about family gatherings!Parking: Lots of parking is available .
This hurts my heart because we love Pappas BBQ. We have been very loyal customers for years. We used to buy all the time at the NASA location before they closed. We’ve had nothing but good, great experiences at the Hobby area as wellYesterday, we decided to grab dinner here. We get to the restaurant around 8:15 (drive thru) and the lines were fairly long (no issue with waiting). I place an order for our food and I get to the window and was told they were out of chicken and dirty rice.Okay, I understand that due to them getting ready to close and also due to Father’s Day spike as well. So we opted for Mac and cheese with our other side dish. The cashier (Cicely) was okay until I asked if they had any bread left. She said they’re two slices left and she rolled her eyes and walked off- felt like she had a real nasty attitude. So we get the food and that had to be the worse meal we’ve had from there. Meat was cold and dry and we were also given crumbs from the ribs and brisket. Also the sauce from the mac and cheese spilled over to the salads and it was horrible. Usually I’m okay but this one took the cake.Word of advice- Pappas should never run out of food on a holiday weekend on top of that the service should be the same as it is when opening. Just thought I had to share
