Mcgonigel's Mucky Duck - Houston

Their food and drinks are always delicious, and the atmosphere is always great. They've been here and gone for five years and it's still special. The staff is amazing, and super tent for the girls. I will always recommend this place if you are looking for good food and amazing drinks!

TD;DR must visit delicious authentic Irish cuisine and decor with live music often. Today my first time came to this wonderful institution and it was worth the visit. I often drove by, but I should have come a lot earlier. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff was welcoming and friendly. We had many questions and the bartender was patient and knowledgeable and answered them all. When you enter the stage is left and the bar is back, although you can't really see it from the front door. There are many Irish history and cultures that wall the walls. We stopped looking for a nice breakfast, but unfortunately missed a brunch. FORTUNATELY but they have a complete irish breakfast on the menu all day and we jumped on the occasion. We have a complete Irish breakfast with an appetizer of Scotch eggs and let me tell you it was good. It is a tradition when I travel back to Ireland to get a complete Irish breakfast in Dublin airport, and that brought me fresh from the plane and with a delicious hot meal before me. The beans, the Irish bacon, sausage, tomatoes and eggs were fantastic and best and closest to an authentic Irish breakfast I had outside of Ireland and mothers kitchen. Will surely be back and may have to make a tradition here on Saturday breakfast. We also have fish and chips to go, but have not yet tried, although they look delicious. Don't forget to ask for Hp sauce.

I was there for a business meeting with several people tonight. Even a surprise visit from the owner and his wife! GREAT atmosphere, EXCELLENT FOOD and excellent service. It's been a while since my last visit. If you consider taking a friend or business partner here, do it!!!

The Duck is a wonderful and intimate showcase for live music with a good crisp sound system. They also offer a good menu with a beautiful selection of dishes with fresh and high quality ingredients and they have an extensive drink menu.

We arrived at 6:30 on a Monday and we’re told it was an hour wait. We decided to go to bar and we’re informed we could eat there. That was good. Service was excellent and the manager, Brandon, was hospitable and friendly. The food was very good for a beachside eatery. The cocktails were strong and tasty. Overall, an excellent dinner.
