Bidrage med feedbackNot a bad spot! For about $30.00, I got a takoyaki appetizer as well as the Tonkotsu black. The tonkotsu black was very rich and creamy. The noodles had a good texture. The egg came as a whole boiled egg though instead of two halves, which was a bit messier to eat, but not a big deal. Was a bit disappointed with the takoyakis however. Felt like there was a lot of filling, but not much octopus if any. They also had too much sauce on it. Less sauce and more octopus would go a long way to improving it. The bartender and crew overall were very nice and welcoming. They gave great drink recommendations and had very good social vibes. Would recommend the spot overall for ramen, but not so much for takoyakis.
Delicious one of a kind experience! Plenty of vegan options!!! Decadent hot and fresh!!! One of my favorite spots for sure,If not my favorite of all! This place is definitely a hidden gem! Love the chill lively atmosphere!
Wow! Just absolutely astounded by the quality of ramen here! The broth had so much complexity and flavor I couldn't stop to appreciate it and ate it too fast jk. Ordered the Jinya Ramen Black hot with a side of the double inferno sauce and it only elevated the entire bowl. This could be considered high end as the price reflects that but completely worth it. The noodles were thinner than I prefer but absorbed the broth very well. The chashu wasn't as fatty as I would've liked and the egg was cooked just right but nothing special. The double tuna cones were disappointing because they were very small. Overall this place deserves 6 stars but only slightly less than Ramen Jin because it lacks that homemade feel and taste with thicker noodles. I went back and forth between deciding which shop but Ramen Jin is IMO better by a hair. I would also like to mention Daphne our server provided excellent service and recommendations.
Completely honest, Jinya's original ramen broth was too saturated with msg for my taste. But their rice bowl, my God their rice bowls... I've never tasted anything so divine. Their pork chasu rice bowl is to die for. Takoyaki was delicious as well. This particular location has a Japenese bar aesthetic that I really appreciated. Would go back for their rice bowl, not so much for ramen though.
First time visit at this location. Service was prompt and friendly. The only negative thing that I have to share is the flavor of the broth/soup. Not as flavorful as other places I have tried. The soup tastes as if they are simply adding Gochujang paste and Sriracha. The other soup dish that was ordered was very salty. The ramen was nicely cooked. Wish they were as good as the location downtown.
