Handam Bbq - Houston

I come here a lot with groups of friends and family but today was the first time service was not as great as before. Waitress was good and front desk was kind. But food service itself was slower than usual and some were also forgotten and we had to reorder it again with our waitress or informed it was never brought out. We waited up to 15mins for our meats to come out that we ate most of our side dishes 2-3 times overall and we usually don’t and we got refills of our sides just to have something to eat.I assume is the manager? Handed us our check and inform us that we went passed our 2hrs limited time) and that they would need us to leave soon for next customers which I understand coming from another person who works in a restaurant industry. But he gave us our bill before our last plate even came out.. and proceed to go back in the front desk and have fun with the coworkers lol not sure if there is a change in management but I do have the say the previous one that we always see was very friendly and always made sure we were taken care of even doing the food service himself to make sure we had what we needed. This time felt different. : I recommend a lot of friends here and previously was told it was bad service but I didn’t believe it until I came for myself and I see why…

Went here today for my boyfriend and I's anniversary dinner! We had a hard time picking between 3 different restaurants and eventually decided to go with Handam BBQ and I am so glad we did! We ordered the Handam Combo B which is the AYCE for $35; only $5 more than the Combo A which is more bang for your buck bc you get a lot more choices! Our favorite was the LA Kalbi, Sweet Garlic Pork Belly, and the Salted Prawns! I also ordered the Pork Rib Kimchi Stew on top of the AYCE option. Personally, I've had better kimchi stew and I prefer it to be really sour but it was still good and they did not skimp on the pork! We were also surprised at the amount of banchan we get and the staff were really attentive and even went around the restaurant, offering refills of banchans, pushing a cart filled with it. Service was really quick too! We didn't have to wait before our food arrived. We will definitely come back! It is now my favorite KBBQ place in Houston!

Excellent Korean cuisine with great service and fun atmosphere grilling your own food. The all you can eat at $30/person is worth it.

This is one of the top kbbq restaurant that i have ever been to. They even include charcoal to make the flavor better. Although, it get too hot too
