Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - Houston

We're obsessed with this place. Our absolute number one food spot. The service is always amazing, the food is always top tier and they always play early 2000's music which is so fun.

The closest thing to a Yakiniku restaurant in Japan. Food is amazing and ser ice was excellent. Will go back for sure.

Hands down best Japanese bbq I’ve tasted. Tried it both in Hawaii and Houston and had a great experience. Waiters sometimes mix up orders but overall happy with the service. Update: on the second visit, things were a bit worse. Our waitress had an attitude and wasn’t welcoming. And about the food, probably because of surge hour, the meats we ordered had so much fat compared to the meaty parts. Overall not a so great experience. They need to do a better job on the quality of the food and service as their food isn’t cheap.
