We also had the fried rice lunch special which was good as well. We dipped the rice in our broth and that was a really good combination. The eggrolls are huge and flavorful! Also, try the iced jasmine tea with your meal. It's floral and cleanses your palate with every sip! It's pretty addicting, hehe!
It is unfortunate that I live nowhere near Houston because I could live off their Bahn Mi. And only $5? Stay true. Sidenote, they hooked my puppy up with some carrots to eat on the road.
I eat here 4 to 5 times a month! Small intimate setting! But the owners are wonderful! I recommend egg rolls and the Pho AND DURING THE SEASON THIER Crawfish are ahhhhmazing! I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF I COULD!
Best food I ever had! Got a vegetable rice noodle dish and now I have every Vietnamese restaurant trying to recreate what I had in Houston…I requested vegan.. sorry to say but everyone else cannot compete.. everywhere I go I show a picture from Kim Tai!
Hidden treasure… she's not a looker, but the lemon gras tofu is tastier than it has any business being. One of the best vegan/vegetarian spots, and it's not even trying to be.
