Le Drakkar - Hourtin

Super restaurant staff and friendly and fast for service. We really eat it very well we really have it for our money and especially there are small concerts in summer that makes us feel the atmosphere and makes us spend a good evening!

Friendly welcome. Quality and quantity dishes. No waiting to be taken care and served (we were 4). Everything went perfectly. The well-trained staff is efficient and pleasant. I strongly recommend this place of restoration.

Pleasant location at the marina on the lake. Good set meal options and OK for kids menu. Decent portions and friendly service. Perfectly acceptable holiday dinner. Unfortunately spoiled by a group of local smokers who took a table in the canopy area at the front....Blowing some everywhere, in the knowledge that they were surrounded by families who were all still eating. Took it up with a member of staff who said that it was legal ? and that they could not stop it ? . Of course they could stop it but they don't. Contempt shown for the vast majority of their decent well behaved guests. Therefore rated Poor.

We had a lovely evening here with a big party of 22. The food was average (most had pizza where the filling was a little sparse compared to a British pizza) but the service, friendliness and willingness to do anything they could made the difference....Value was good compared to other more expensive establishments.

This place has been around for ages in Hourtin and seems to be never changing. Young service crew which is speedy and friendly, but at times a bit unsure. Ice cream is predictably good and a large choice. Cocktails are plenty but rather pricey. Still...an inevitable address at Hourtin-Port!
