Cafe Milano - Houma

The waitress was great. bad thing was the only one in the dining area with 6 tables. she did a great job.

We had a party of 8 for a birthday party. we were greeted immediately and our waiter was fantastic! our food was full of taste and not disappointed. the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming! total great experience for the price!

Christmas evening dinner. not especially for vacation back! the lounge (where we sat) was ice-cold (miscible). it was something black in my sonny glass. we ordered or eat (not enough options). my man and I ordered. about 10 minutes later, we were told that they were running out of stock. how wow! very disappointed! we decided at 20:30 on holy evening to pay for my glass wee and two ordered ducks then leave without a Christmas meal. on the menu was nothing else to appreciate. I'm very disappointed. there were other groups of our friends who shared that they had been there for hours. not the christmas experience we hoped for. I am the fact that I thought immediately after all these years in the service industry, the restaurant would be better prepared for these events. we would probably have had a better experience in texas roadhouse and that's pretty sad.

That was holy evening and I realized that the things were to be done, but that was terrible. the reservation was for 7:15. When we arrived there, waited for someone who helps us and eventually went to find someone who sat down and said they could give us water and we would have to wait for one because they were very supported. we finally went at 9:30 a.m. and left my son there to go our escape. they finally came at 10:15 and brought them home at 10:35. our bill was very close to $200 before the tipp and I feel that this was a great deal to pay for this experience. the waitress apologised and I assured her that I knew that was not her fault. who owes us to the manager to overbook and mistreat this situation. on my way at 9:30, someone from another table told me their reservation was for 6:30 and they were not served food yet. God be thankful I had my son to sit with me and wait till 10:15 for the food. I think that was unacceptable service and do not think I would like to return to this restaurant.

The service was poor, we waited 2 1/2 hours for our meal. It was freezing and the there was not enough wait staff. Will not return!!
