Pupuseria Mi Chalateca Salvadorean Food

Delicious! And also affordable. It is not so easy to find a good place with Pupusas in Hot Springs or Malvern. If you never tried Salvador's food, don't give it up.

I'm looking forward to dinner in this place. The Pupusas are delicious! You can order them filled with cheese, cheese and beans or cheese and pork. I ordered the special with three and we shared it. The deceptions are probably some of the best deceptions I've ever had and caution because they sell quickly. When they're gone, they're gone. They are filled with meat of your choice and I tasted olives and chickpeas that was unique and delicious! The Koleslaw was very fresh, crisp and tasty. I could recognize fine oregano flavors in the Koleslaw, but Mexico oregano- or was it something else? It was good, it was. We also ordered the Platanos with the beans and acid cream. The Plantains were very soft and had a wonderful taste. I've dipped them into the beans and sour cream, which I've never done before. I prefer this about the sweetness of sugar (Platanos Fritos). They offer two sauces with one hot and the other not hot at all. Delicious! We spent twelve dollars on the food, I gave them fifteen and said, keep the change, which means that we only fifteen dollars for a delicious meal that fed two big eaters! Ha! After that we were filled! My only advice is to drive up at an angle to the parking lot, because this lock will scrape the car. Drive from behind or just park on the street, unless you drive a truck or jeep. It's a must. Look at my other reviews.

We visited hot springs and stumbled into this truck stop and OMG! Delicious! The red sauce is beautiful and spicy. We have pupusas revueltas and they were absolutely delicious. Not greasy and still crispy. I wish I could eat here all the time, but I live 5 hours away. It's a must! Hidden jewel is just a person who makes it so patient.

Always fresh and friendly! The Burrito California is amazing and will feed 2 adults!
