Locking Horns Riverside

Great atmosphere and service! We came on a rainy autumn Friday night. My daughter chose the personal pizza I was stolen, they had an impossible patty option! (Did not expect vegetarian options in Horseshoe Bend. the bungalow was so delicious the crust for the pizza was also great! We come back and try breakfast next time? as it is served until 4:00!

If you are looking for a restaurant a little outside the city, right next to the river, with great food, Locking Horns Riverside is a great place to go. The staff is friendly and the food is great. We went at noon so one of us had breakfast and one of us had lunch. There are seats inside and on the terrace. It is a peaceful environment for a good meal.

My son and I ate here for lunch. I had the finger steaks with onion rings and he had the calzone. The onion rings and the calzon were excellent, but the finger steaks were at best average. It did not help that they were less meat mixed with fat. The dining room is very dark with a rustic motif. It was good for us, but some might find it old dated. They have lawn games like Jenga, Maisloch and connect 4 available to play on the terrace. My son enjoyed them. Eating on the terrace would be nice with the river view, but it was too hot to enjoy during our visit. I am generous with 4 stars, as the service was really good. Our server was helpful and appealing.

Had bad reviews, but I have this place an attempt every few months and again disappointed, ordered the Horse Shoe breakfast, the toast, coffee and eggs, where well I ordered the potatoes O?Brien and they, where boiled a lot and potatoes, where black and very small portion and fat, I asked them to replace with hashbrowns that they, where beautiful about it, but the hash browns, where underlined. I took pictures. I really like doing local business, but I do? You haven't had a good meal yet? Service was good tho .

Absolutely love the coconut shrimp, and the fries! Maybe a little on the pricy side, but the food is worth it. Beautiful views from the patio (Comment on price is not a criticism, and cost of living is obviously tough these days. The comment on price is simply my opinion, and written in the hopes to be helpful to other patrons.
