Dirty Don's Oyster Grill - Horry

Food was great! Oysters 10/10. Live music outside with great vibes inside. Not the cleanest. Bowls and silverware sketchy just ask for plastic ware! Parking behind the building is limited. Stairs to enter the building, only outside is wheelchair accessible.

Staff was cool,the place was pretty dirty so name was spot on. The food was poor. Some of those places have been around so long they really don't even try anymore. Typical tourist town.All the cooks in those place are coming in hungover from partying the night before ,wreaking of cigarette smoke and bad life choices and don't really want to be there and don't try.If they get fired they just go down the road to one of the next 200 restaurants in those towns. And the cycle continues. Owners,put some money back in there,get the floors re done, Upgrade the well...everything.. show you care. Get off the golf course show up to your establishment, check the bathrooms, check out the products coming off the line. Have some accountability. And case the owners reading this think I'm some computer troller writing reviews because I'm bored. YOU'RE WRONG. I am a business owner too for 23 years now. So I know. BE BETTER!

King crab boil was amazing the blackened shrimp tacos were so good

I made a reservation at a different place but at the last minute decided to go to Dirty Don's. I have gone to this restaurant several times when I am town and enjoyed it very much but this time was different. The grilled fish tacos were SALTY SPICY and it felt like a completely different place. I'm not sure if I will go back.

Yummy! Fried oysters were delicious. Wife loved the Maui burger. Kiddo got the Surf-n-Turf chicken tenders and fried shrimp. They ate it up! Cole slaw needed help, but not bad enough to lose a star. Really enjoyed the live music on the deck. Would definitely come back!
