Taste Of Bengal - Hornchurch

I had the chance to visit this restaurant for the first time in years. One of the staff members recognized me despite the long time and welcomed me warmly. The menu offers a great variety of choices and the dishes I ordered (shami kebab, followed by chicken jalfrazi) were delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Visit here since the 80s as many people show that it is very dated. most foods were great, but chicken maras was a small bland. all in all 8/10.

Tonight, I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The staff, who have been working there for years, went above and beyond to assist us. This place is truly exceptional, just as it has always been.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I've been a loyal customer since 1998 and it has maintained its charm throughout the years. The Indian music playing in the background adds to the ambiance. Jamal, the owner, runs the place like a well-oiled machine, ensuring it is always clean, cozy, and inviting. The food is truly delicious, cooked with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. My favorite dish is the Madras from Bengal, which I haven't been able to find anywhere else. On top of that, Jamal often treats his regular customers to a free drink, a gesture that sets this place apart from others. He is a family man who loves to chat about his own family and genuinely cares about his customers' lives. My whole family has come to love this restaurant and it's the one thing we miss the most after moving away in 2015. The Taste of Bengal is a fantastic spot to savor life and indulge in good food.
