Bad Horn

This restaurant is very sophisticated , the food is an art and delicious. The personnel is friendly and very professional. One of the best places I had the pleasure to discover in Steinach area. Highly recommended.

0 STAR Yesterday . I was there with my family for dinner for my grnadmother birthday . I am a Cook my self for the last 10 years. When I heard the Bad Horn had a 1 Michellin Star i was exited to eat some good stuff and enjoy a nice service. When I saw the Menu I was shocked . As it was very boring and not very exited at all . 3 of us ask for a different menu . So we were offered the traditianl Schitzel Breaded Veal steak with Fries . A Veeery simple dish to make . For 40 CHF !!!!! The same dish you can get next door for 18 chf . The Fries were from The freezer dry and over fried and the Schnitzel was wet and oilly . Like it was fried and then put in the steam oven ..not crispy at all ! For a Michellin Star !!!! And for 40 CHF I would at least like to have standart meal. Service was 6/10. Not to mention the Hair I had on top of my Lemon . I did not make a complain because it was my grandmothers day and I did not want her to get upset at 92 years old . Michellin Star not deserved !!! So over priced !!!! 0.2ml Williams at 12 CHF thats like 400-500% profit margin !!! The bottle cost 45 chf ! I will never recommend this place to anyone ! I am happy I did not stay the night ! I am upset i did not manage to complain directly ! But again my grandmother was having a good time so we all did not want to ruin the day because of some horrible service and food ! Never again !!

Great food, good wines, very knowledgeable staff, nicely decorated dining room for our family-group.. It was a wonderful experience

I stayed in this marvelous place called Bad Horn, a four stars hotel but in my opinion could be more then four star, the location is really unique, amazing view to Bodensee and what I really liked is the attention of all staff, always kind and genuine smiles, I want come back soon, and a must to know the spa facilities are excellent

We started out at a lovely table outside, but the rain came with wind and it poured, so we had to move inside. It was a lovely start to our evening outside and from the start, the service was fantastic. We had 2 wonderful bottles of wine, appetizers, our meal, and even a light desert. The salad bar was nice and we did partake in that as well. If you are looking for a lovely setting , quiet, casual, yet it can be dressy... this is the spot you want to be. Comfortable chairs and beautiful setting, nice temperature and the ambiance was just as nice inside as it was outside, There was parking on site, but it was (small) full, so we parked across the street on a lot and just walked across.
