Vis Aan De Linie - Hoofddorp

Not called Vis aan de Linie anymore, but Fort Noxx. Great atmosphere inside an old defensive structure. Good food. Great beer selection and friendly and helpful staff. Will go again soon. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40

A terrible shame, but it was a tragedy. The service was inexperienced, but very friendly. The starter stir-fried mussels with Salsa Verde consisted of dry-boiled mussels with lots of salt and a sprig of samphire. Can 't eat, so return. My girlfriend had already ordered the mussel pan as a main course and received exactly the same, but in a large size, so she returned it. I had a sea bass stuffed with salsa Verde. Barely filled and still raw on the bone (didn 't say anything, it was starting to get a bit embarrassing). Furthermore, a beautiful tent with a lot of potential, but unfortunately not with this chef.

Went by bike but no bicycle shed. Call in advance to check whether it is wheelchair accessible. They say yes, but the threshold is almost impossible with a wheelchair. The elevator is clogged, so an employee must first be called to reach the elevator from the outside. Since the menu on the internet (without announcement) would only be available next week, the choice on the menu was a downer. Received an apology. Food was delicious but quite expensive (order fries and vegetables separately). The decor is fantastic. Will I go again? Don't know.

Heerlijk eten op een prachtige (voor velen onbekende) locatie en fijne ambiance. Aanrader!

Het oude Fort bij Hoofddorp, onderdeel van de Stelling van Amsterdam, heeft na een zeer grondige renovatie een nieuwe functie gekregen. Eén daarvan is een visrestaurant. Het Fort is vrij toegankelijk, maar volg de regels en de paden. Vanaf het dak heb je een mooi uitzicht naar de korenmolen De Eersteling en Het Oude Buurtje.
