Old school okazuya. Was there early and a whole construction crew was picking up food for later in the day. Cash only. Parking in the front.

I've passed by here quite often but I always seem to come by when they are already closed I had a chance to go and I wasn't disappointed I got the Shoyu Chicken, Chow fun, a Hash Patty it was just like old times when I was a kid and had a field trip and my Mom used to get me Okazuya food, the plate was even wrapped up in paper like the old days. I hope to get a chance to go there again a bit earlier when there is more food.

Hands down to delicious, traditional style okazu. Decided to combine my breakfast and lunch in one. There are a few diagonal parking spaces fronting the shop. I no longer see Toshi's sign unless I'm blind as a bat this morning. Look for the yummy delicatessen food fronting glass display. Only can fit one customer inside at a time. Arrived at 7 a.m. to find only plain rice triangles, corned beef hash, tamagoyaki, shoyu chicken, hamburger patty, and a few pieces of saba. All out of chow fun for the time being; however, male worker informed me if I wanted fresh chow fun, wait time is 15 mins. I politely declined because I wanted to arrive early at work. Corned beef hash: More hash than corned beef. So soft. Great from toddlers to elderly to enjoy. Tasty! Tamagoyaki: That's the biggest piece I've ever come across at okazuya or delicatessen. Perfect with diced spam and green onions. Yummy! Must have! Shoyu chicken: Moist, tender, perfectly cooked, and not salty. Haven't had this in years. Brought back fond childhood memories. Hamburger patty: Sweet and salty contrast of sauce for homemade, thick hamburger with minced onions. Love the courteous customer service from gentleman and origami style folding of white thick paper. Legit okazu! Don't expect tempura. If you're an egg or corned beef hash fan, must stop by for a visit. Business is open at 4:45 a.m. Perfect for early risers or finishing shifts in the wee hours.

One of very few okazuya places left. Food is very old school and portions are very generous. The open Tuesday-Friday only from 5:30-12noon. Everything is good, from their sushi, namasu, chow fun, fried chicken, hamburger patty, etc.

Pros: Hot chow fun with some veges Namasu crunchy and sweet Salad with egg and potato chunks Cons: Prices not cheap Comments: Parking in front on the low rise sidewalk which one can park diagonally but be careful when reversing as you can 't see the traffic. There 's a line inside and outside but the obasans are working quickly and we have time to decide what to get. It is not cheap but the quality is there with lots of ingredients. I like the paper wraps and rubber bands as old Hawaii is still here. Cash only and put it in the paper plate as it reads. To complete the ambience, the staff are speaking a little in dialect to each other and the requisite 'yusho ' when lifting the heavy container. There 's no name sign but look for the glass front with wooden shelves with dishes of the good stuff and the red neon open sign. I 'll visit again.
