Ravish - The Modern Honolulu

We are deeply disappointed by opentables. they have sent us reminders of the booking that the day before our reservation, and now ask for review. the restaurant had deliberately absent from the fact that it is the owner change of the location. at least they could have informed us about it. it was the last night of our holiday and a dinner. it was not possible to meet alternatives when we found out from the close alone, only by going to the restaurant at our booking time of 6:30 a.m. on this day.

So sad that ravish has closed! we were appropriately accommodated and enjoyed cooking keiths wonderful offers!

Eating was bad and would not go back. not impressed and too many other good restaurants in honolulu

We enjoyed the clean, modern appearance of this restaurant. The menu has several unique selections-we especially enjoyed the crab mac ‘n cheese and the beet salad.

We really wanted to love this restaurant, as it is right on our doorstep. We used to adore Morimoto when it was in the same location. We tried Ravish when it was brand new, but were not impressed. We thought we'd give it a second chance. We had asked for a table with a view of the Hilton fireworks, but when we arrived were told that both patios were occupied with parties. The location within the Modern Hotel is wonderful. The tables are nicely spaced, not too close together. The restaurant was not at all busy. The cocktails were nice. The food was very ordinary, not particularly inventive and rather salty. It was certainly nothing like Morimoto used to be (or is currently in Maui). The service was indifferent.
