Bidrage med feedbackAfter a torturous 3-hour wait for a rental car at HNL, we stopped here to satisfy our craving for saimin. Delicious and great service! It's probably one of those best kept secrets!
The wun tun min noodles are just right not too hard or too soft. The wun tun was just okay the soup however was bothering me I could taste salt not sure why but it was like salt with water very little broth if any, as a mater of fact I couldn't tell what kind of broth was used. The fried saimin was tasteless I was very surprised and confused? And the BBQ sticks was not BBQ at all more like steak flavored, and the meat was very chewy after awhile I just spit it out I can't just keep chewing on it. A lot has to change here, don't they taste their food before they sell it? I'm being generous with the three stars.
Soup broth was delicious. BBQ Sticks are great too...and everything is sooo affordable!
Great saimin broth and service. It's like going for dinner at Tutus hale. No frills just great food.
Simple menu and food. Old school saimin and bbq place. Had the small wonton udon, noodles were good. Had 3 wontons in it, that had a small meatball the size of a small cherry in it, some char siu and green onions. Broth was salty, but hot mustard helped to make things pretty tasty. A small shop, that's fast and good when you're in the mood for old school saimin and bbq sticks.
