Fook Lam Moon (wan Chai) - Hong Kong

My favorite sound Dim-Summeplatz in HK for lunch. Is not particularly modern, but the quality is absolutely top notch.

Dinner at a Thursday lunchtime, restaurant is not busy at all, maybe with 1/3 capacity. The service was top Notch, really attentive staff and polite. The food was of very good quality, I can only speak for Dim Sum menu. The BBQ pork was really tender and juicy without having much excess fat. The pasty of the dumplings is just the correct texture that is not as delicate as it can be at some places. The egg-tarts baked for perfection, a bit different than normal egg-tarts, the interior is half baked, which means it is easy runny. Dishes range from $70-80 for dim sum and the BBQ pig $200.

Came here with my wife for the first time on 2. March 2019 to celebrate a learned friend of medium life (60) birthday dinner banquet. Food and beverages, in particular the service, fulfils the expectations of the great donors and the local high society. We did not notice the closing time and only realized that it had already happened at midnight when we saw that the main gate was half closed!

Excellent food, excellent wine list, excellent service. It is a premium dim sum restaurant commanding premium prices. It is worth to try.
