Bidrage med feedbackWe stumbled upon this incredible spot by accident while on a ride to an amazing BBQ place on Easter Sunday last year in Homestead. The BBQ place was closed unexpectedly, so we kept riding until we saw a glimmer of light from a window as we passed by a yellow building that looked closed. Being curious we turned around and checked it out. The place was surrounded by cinder block walls and looked to be under construction. Well what we found was truly unexpected. One of the nicest Authentic Mexican Restaurants I have ever been to. The owner is from Mexico and has the same place in Mexico, the inside is made with all wood beems and doors from old barns in Mexico he also manufactures Mexican pottery in Mexico and has tons for sale right on the grounds. With Coy ponds and an outside stage for entertainment, this place that is under partial construction has some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. We ride over an hour to get there and the Tortilla Soup is worth the drive alone among other dishes.
The appetizers were delicious, and the Molcajete salsa made in front of us to our specifications was exceptional. We shared the Big Parrillada Plate, which was plentiful and had excellent flavor, tender, juicy meats and seafood. It stayed warm in a large metallic basket at our table the entire time we were eating, and even when I packed up the leftovers, it was still warm. The restaurant is still under construction, but it has great potential. I used my imagination to enjoy the decor, food, drinks, family atmosphere, and especially the music. The restaurant did a great job putting everything together. Congratulations, I can't wait to return.
Dont exagerate Please. I love the fresh salsa that they make at your tablewe been eating in this place since last yeartheres a thing that people dont realizewhen you go to a restaurant that makes fresh foodit takes more time than fast food(Mac Donalds, KFC etc. if you have time to eat good and fresh go herebut if you are a desperate customer that wants their food in seconds please dont come here or you bewaiting and writing bad reviews. If you have between 10 to 20 minutes to wait to eat freshthen this is your Mexican restaurant
My husband surprised me by taking me out for an early dinner. The food at this restaurant was amazing - the best Mexican food I've had in the Miami area. The prices were reasonable and our waitress provided excellent service. We were even serenaded by a gentleman singing two songs with his guitar! It's a very special place. My only suggestion would be to make the building more noticeable as we have passed by it many times before.
The food is definitely worth it at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. It's best not to go there for a quick lunch, as you may not make it back in time.
