Boardwalk Bakery Cafe - Homer

Great breakfast place! Delicious food and even gluten free options. If you're in a hurry call ahead. Good food takes time! Love this place and right next door is Shore Brew Coffee. Perfect morning combo!

We stopped in at Boardwalk Bakery for breakfast. The building is small with limited seating, but has two large park benches just outside. There is more seating next door at Shore Brew Espresso. There is also a map of the United States on their wall where you can pin your hometown. They remove the pins every year and my girlfriend was the first to pin our hometown in 2016. The menu is limited and once they sell out of baked goods, they are done for the day. My girlfriend ordered a breakfast burrito and I ordered a panini. Of course, we had to order a cinnamon roll. The food was good and the cinnamon roll was great. Although we did not order a boxed lunch, we were told they will make a boxed lunches even after they close. Grab a coffee next door and some food here. We recommend this place for breakfast.

Without a doubt the best cinnamon rolls we have ever eaten. Also ordered sour dough bread for next day delivery. The best bakery found in our ten week Alaska tour.

Little bit disappointing trying to place orders here. The hours are confusing, they say they are open at 5am, but when I drive by or call they are not open. They also run out of biscuits and say they will call you back but they don't. I'll eat at La Baleine in the future.
