Came here for dinner while staying at the campsite down the road. It was very easy to book a table and the service was good. The meals came out quickly and were delicious. Very pleased : Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Went for a pre-wedding meal in a group of 16. The staff were very organised in taking the order and it was not a long wait for the food. A good range of food and portions were plentiful. Must say that the staff were great. Service: 5 Location: 5

Stayed one night while visiting Scafell Pike (only 20 minutes away). Check in was a breeze and we were delighted to see the room which was spacious with complementary tea and coffee. The bathroom was also quite large. The bar was great having sky sports and TNT sports alongside reasonable prices for drinks. The food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent and again reasonably priced, with the bar staff polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay, food and service excellent, rooms clean comfortable, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, looks a little tired from the outside- needs a paint and new windows but don't be deceived, can't fault it inside!
