Bidrage med feedbackIt was selected as the best restaurant in the downtown Hollywood area for a reason. I can tell you that excellent is NOT enough! Because the city is building a new development there they have had to move , but hopefully they will find a place soon! Theirconcept is different! Food out of the world homemade REAL Italian food)
This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is always a pleasant surprise to see that it's not crowded, considering how unique and personalized the decor is. The coffees here are superb. My friend tried the chocolate amaretto orange cake, a truly original flavor combination, and I had the lentil soup which was delicious.
The restaurant is beautiful and unique, perfect for intimate celebrations. The food is delicious with special flavors that remind me of my boyfriend's Italian Grandpa's cooking. The service was fast and the timing of the dishes was perfect. However, there are some core elements missing from the Italian kitchen - no bread served, no balsamic olive oil, and no fresh basil. The Caprese salad was not traditional and the desserts were not tasty. Music was also missing, which is essential for setting the tone of the experience. Overall, the server was polite but seemed distracted. It's important for the server to leave personal troubles at home and contribute to the overall experience with a smile. In an Italian restaurant, desserts should be incredible and incorporate ingredients like pistachios. There is room for improvement, but with some changes, this restaurant could be a top-notch dining experience.
Sasa is a masterpiece! The food is incredible, made fresh every day. The atmosphere is charming and romantic. The service was outstanding, as it is a family-run establishment. The desserts are simply mouthwatering. My partner and I had a wonderful date night there on a Friday in April. We had a cozy table in one of the cozy rooms all to ourselves, and received just the right amount of attention from the staff. We ordered the lobster ravioli and the vegetable risotto, both of which were incredibly delicious and light. The tiramisu was fantastic! It's rare for me to leave an Italian restaurant feeling light, but this food was prepared with love and care and did not feel heavy. Sasa is now our go-to spot for date nights in Hollywood. Be sure to make a reservation!
Yesterday, I had lunch with my girlfriend on this hidden gem, the reviews that we saw while we were looking for a place to eat were right, the food is unique, the place is cozy and different and the attention is superb. It?s a family-owned business, runby themselves. The chef is Italian, so if you're in Hollywood and you want to try authentic Italian food, give this place achance, trust me you won't regret it.
