Be True Cafe - Hollister

Exceptionally good food........probably the best food in Hollister....great appetizers........great dinners........we've eaten there 3 times since it opened a short while ago

Cleanest cafe I’ve ever seen. The food is very good.

I just can't say enough about this place. The food is delicious, the coffee is perfectly made and the interior is adorable. The owner is personable and sweet and does everything to ensure your satisfied. It's not often you come across gems like this one but I absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

I looked at places to try before arriving in town. Had this place booked marked. We gave it a try. Walking in the place is cute cozy lil spot to grab a bite. We were eventually greeted and advised to find a seat anywhere and that they were closing early but they're going to serve us. Both tables we wanted to sit were dirty but were cleaned when asked. She did inform us they had a rush. However I noticed the loveseat was full of debris after she walked away from cleaning table . I took the pillow and fluffed everything to the floor. Placed order had some conversation the food arrived. I had to ask for napkins and my boyfriend had to ask for condiments because it wasn't offered to us. I eat with my eyes first. I was in love with the presentation of my avocado toast and it tasted freshly good. After finishing up we were told they were trying to set up for later in the evening were they were doing a pilot for serving wine and invited us to come back and it was free. I gave 3 stars for the few lack there of regards to us having to ask for things that's normally offered. And half cleaning the area. I didn't like being told they were closing early but was willing to serve us as if it was a favor. We were already inside. I sympathize that they were preparing for something later in the evening but you have to provide adequate customer service at all times. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. If I'm in town again I would come back and give it another try.

I ordered the fish tacos and they were beautiful!! I wish I would of taken a picture but I was too excited to eat them lol! Taste even better than they look!!
