Great Wall Chinese - Hogansville

Gave this restaurant a try and was highly disappointed. The wonton soup was water with tasteless wonton noodles, the pork lo mien was tasteless noodles and pork with just a speck or two of onion. The duck sauce was clearly watered down also. The only reason I even gave 2 stars was for the marginal happy family .

Well agreed with the above review crazy to give 5 stars to a strip mall Chinese Restaurant but....all the food is soooo good and always fresh, for me though I Absolutely LOVE their fried dumplings lol and I am in fact about to call in an order tonight: Nice young family and good food at fair prices so if you're thinking Chinese food tonight too you don't have to go all the way to Lagrange.

It may seem crazy to give a strip mall Chinese takeout place five stars, but if we are rating strip mall Chinese takeout places, this is a good one! The prices are right, the food is good and fresh, and the people who run the place are always nice. A young Chinese couple runs the place, and they have always been very nice to us. They always get our order right. Great Wall has a pretty standard Chinese takeout menu, but they are always flexible with us customizing our meal off the menu, and we have noticed that they make everything from scratch after you order it. The egg rolls are big and greasy like an egg roll should be (no light little spring rolls here! . The Crab Rangoon appetizer is one of our favorites. When we want to eat healthy, we order steamed rice, fresh vegetables, and the awesome black bean sauce.
