Bidrage med feedback3.5 stars It had been years since I had eaten food from Precious, but I recently placed a delivery order directly with the restaurant. The food arrived quickly and accurately. I had ordered the Prawns with Moo Shu Seasoning off the Revolution Diet menu. That section of the food list still utilized sauce, so it was not like the steamed options the restaurant offered. Instead, no oil was used in the preparation of the dishes from that part of the menu. Half of the shrimp in the meal were great, while the other half were unfortunately chewy. The dish also included broccoli and mushrooms, which were both fresh and cooked to the perfect texture. The brown sauce was light, earthy, and simply delicious. My side of brown rice was also excellent in that it was fluffy and plentiful, without being mushy or stuck together. I definitely found Precious better than I had remembered, though the way the prawns were cooked was a bit of a letdown.
0/5 STARS! BEWARE OF RAW DUMPLINGS!!! Unpleasant Experience with Raw Dumplings and Poor Customer Service Saturday night, 2/2/24, I had ordered vegetable lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and pork steamed dumplings from this Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon biting into the pork dumplings, I discovered they were completely raw, posing a health risk. When I called to address the issue, the initial response was a lack of apology, with a mere offer to make another batch. Despite my insistence on a refund, the process became unnecessarily complicated, as I had paid in cash. The phone representative's laughter and denial of a manager's presence added insult to injury. Upon visiting the restaurant the next day, the lack of a managerial figure persisted until an older woman acknowledged my concern. Only after showing a picture of the undercooked meat did I finally receive a refund. This experience was not only frustrating but also raised serious health concerns. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering this establishment, as my encounter with raw food and uncooperative customer service left me with a less than favorable impression.
This is a good choice for Chinese Japanese cuisine in Hoboken! Their menu is massive, so there is absolutely something for everyone! As a vegetarian, I sometimes struggle at sushi restaurants, but Precious had a ton of great options available. We got the Sushi Vegetable entree and it was such a great and cute vegetarian version of a sushi plate. I also had the vegetable gyoza, which were yummy.
I visited this restaurant for their lunch special, which is a great deal for the price and portion size. I went on a Wednesday for an early lunch and arrived at 11:30 am to find the place empty, but it started to fill up around noon. I ordered the sashimi lunch for $13.50, which included 9 pieces of sashimi (3 salmon, 3 tuna, 3 white fish), a side salad, miso soup, and rice. While I didn't have high expectations at first, I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the fish was. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Not impressed with my last order...ordered hot and sour soup...no crunchie wontons...egg roll...only one dipping sauce....just overall disappointed...
