Farside Tavern - Hoboken

Great place. Open mic jam always draws some great players. The bar was packed and the people were fun and friendly. I enjoyed a Caribbean Chicken over a salad that was excellent ! Highly recommended.

Cool, diverse crowd, good bar food, plenty of TVs, and 2 outdoor areas (front back patio). Good sounds from a rotation of DJs and bands.

You have to come here on a Saturday at 4pm to see their blues jam. Great musicians, always. I see them play in Hoboken for the last 10 years. They used to base at Scotland Yard before, then they moved here. If you play blues, just come and sign your name on the board, you will be called. But you have to be good these guys are not high school kids, they do know what they are doing. The bar staff is very friendly, the drinks are cheap (for Hoboken).

Amazing Saturday night jam from 4 to 8 PM. Great atmosphere, people and drinks. You can even sign up to play with the band!

Jimmy Mack and the Boys' jam on Saturdays from 4-8pm is solid, fun, and Jimmy and his house band are smokin' hot.
