Dawat The Invitation - Hobart

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, which was recommended by a friend, and it was amazing! The customer service was fantastic, the atmosphere was great without being too loud, and the food was incredibly delicious. It was the best Indian cuisine we've ever had. We will definitely be coming back!

We recently visited a restaurant in Great Britain and had a fantastic meal last week. We tried 4 different curries, all of which were delicious and prepared with the exact level of seasoning we requested. I ordered a hot curry and it was actually spicy, which is rare to find in most places. My partner had the lamb curry, which was made with good quality meat. The handmade naan bread was incredible and made right in front of us. We are locals and had never been here before, but we will definitely be back. The owner was also very friendly. This was one of the most authentic and flavorful Indian dining experiences we have had in Tasmania.

I was at the dawat a couple times. the service is very friendly and you have to waitress for suitable meals as one of the sweet dishes was too sweet. also regrettable that they have no jump rolls. but the nan and. the bathroom are wonderful tasting.

After having one meal not be delivered by another restaurant, I was happy to walk in here. I was greeted by smiling faces and handed my delivery quickly. They even had delicious fennel seeds!!
