Bidrage med feedbackWe arrived late afternoon at the club wyndham seven mile beach from brisbane. we had not eaten all day, we were tired and hungry. reception has booked us for dinner. very friendly staff took our order, it was a hard decision, everything looked attractive. my wife ordered the special t bone and I chose the chicken carving. my carving was the biggest and thickest I've ever eaten. so juicy and tender, accompanied by beer battered chips and fresh salat. my wife never lifted her head while she ate the T-bone special, accompanied by beer-battered chips, fresh salad and mushroom sauce. a so friendly tasman place.
We came to find that for the second time in succession our booking was not accepted by the recipe to the restaurant. to the happiness we had a good idea for the mistake of the last time, because we had not paid for the meal we were waiting for after an hour. one of four meals was good. the rest was overcooked, dirty and cold. We really felt for the waitress, as they had to apologize for the guests all the time, made mistakes for all and excessive waiting times for eating.
Turned up @645 and basically told only takeaway available and that was an hour wait and asked if I had a booking. The place had three large tables full and they were eating. The rest of the tables mostly empty with a few people having drinks. Food looked appetising but the abrupt attitude from the staff left a sour taste for the place.
We wernt allowed to eat outside in the beautiful outdoor seating area! Plenty of space, we were allowed drinks outside too. Told it was because of food safety rules?! Never heard anything so ridiculous.
Menu hasn't changed in years. Just the same dreary old place. No effort has been made over the years to bring the place up market just a little bit would be good
